Magickal Baths

I received these years ago in email, saved them, and now have a use for them I suppose. If you’re into this type of thing, enjoy!

Full Moon Bath

Fill the tub half-full of water (not too hot). Dip a quart of this
water in a glass bowl. Hold this bowl outside for a few moments; let
the moon’s light shine on the water.

Then return inside and add the water back into the bath. Add one half-
cup of milk and a bit of lemon peel to the water. Light a white
candle. Burn jasmine incense; alternatively, burn lotus, gardenia or
sandalwood incense.

Bathe, feeling the moon’s power flowing through you; nurturing you;
comforting you. Close your eyes and visualize the moon directly above
you.

When finished, dry off and go about regular activities. Realize that
you have attuned yourself to the moon and have become strengthened.

New Moon Milk Bath

2 cups dry nonfat powered milk
1/2 cup Epsom salts
1/2 cup baking soda
6 drops sandalwood oil
5 drops vanilla fragrance oil
4 drops gardenia fragrance oil
4 drops orange oil

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a container. To Use: Pour 1 cup
into the bath as you fill the tub and stir well.

Moon Soak

To relax and become attuned to the Goddess at the end of your busy day,
treat yourself to a Moon soak. To start, prepare a small dish of white flower
petals mixed lightly with epsom salts and scented with a few drops of jasmine
oil. Have ready a silver or light blue candle and draw a warm bath. Light your
candle and turn off all other lights, adding some soft background music if
you so choose. Disrobe and look out a window, if possible, to see the Moon. If
you can’t see Her, visualize Her in whatever phase she is in. Ask the Lady of
the Moon to bless you, and draw down her power, as you anoint your forehead, head, throat, heart, abdomen, loins, and feet, each with a drop of jasmine
oil. Now toss your epsom salt mixture into the bath, step in, and enjoy.
