So much has been written, aired on television and taught in our schools, it’s staggering to think that more than six hundred women are abused every day, and at least four are killed each day by the men they love. What causes women to remain with men who abuse them? Why don’t they just leave? Why don’t they have him arrested? These are the most common questions asked by a society that simply doesn’t understand the cycle of abuse.
