Botox For Children?

This story blew my mind. When is it ever okay to give an eight-year-old girl Botox injections? The answer should be never, but not according to Kerry.

It seems that mom Kerry thinks it is safe to give her young daughter, Britney, Botox injections. The mom chose not to give her last name, probably because her behavior has caused viewer outrage—no surprise there. Kerry sure isn’t the ideal candidate for parent of the year.

I guess this mom thinks it’s okay to do whatever it takes for her daughter to win a beauty pageant. She is what I call a CPP—Crazy Pageant Parent. Kerry stated that her daughter wanted to try Botox to get rid of her wrinkles. Wrinkles on an eight-year-old? Really? And when does an adult do something ridiculous because a child wants to do it? She is a child. Someone needs to take charge and be the adult here. Not Kerry, apparently. The child says the shots hurt, but she gets used to the pain. Another troubling thing is that the mother is the one injecting Botox into her daughter’s face. I have never heard of this before. I thought only a licensed doctor could do this procedure.

It makes me wonder what is next for this little girl—DD boobs and huge lips? A nose job and a butt lift? And all before the innocent age of ten. Sigh.

  1. It’s ridiculous anyway, but outrageous to give a kid something like that. So what if she doesn’t get first place at a pageant?! All that matters is that she entered being young and all NATURAL. This doesn’t teach kids anything except how to be lazy and ungrateful. Kerry ought to have her face slapped back into reality

  2. I cried when I saw this article a few months back – the little one looks so much like my neice. How can that little girl grow up to know she is beautiful just the way she is? And she is simply gorgeous. It’s hard too – I can’t have children, but this woman can? Sometimes life doesn’t seem all that fair! Maybe I should go and get little Britney and give her a chance at a happy childhood.
